Challah French Toast

Serves: 1


  • Coconut oil (for greasing)
  • 2 thick slices of challah
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons milk of choice (I used Fairlife 2% ultra filtered milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (+ extra) ground cinnamon
  • Sea salt


  • Honey
  • Almond butter
  • Blueberries
  • Shredded coconut


Do it:

  1. Preheat a skillet and grease with coconut oil
  2. In a shallow dish, beat together egg + egg whites + milk + cocoa powder + ground cinnamon + sea salt
  3. Coat challah with batter and place on skillet
  4. Sprinkle more cinnamon on the French toast as it cooks
  5. Flip over once the bottom side begins to brown
  6. Remove from heat when both sides are golden brown and top with honey + almond butter + fresh blueberries + shredded coconut
